Deere & Company is seeking a Diesel Engine Performance Engineer in Cedar Falls, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field plus 3 years related experience. Prior experience must include: calibrate and perform optimization of diesel engine through test cell management (3 years exp); model and program using GT-Power, Matlab/Simulink (3 years exp); conduct Monte Carlo analysis and PUSM modeling (1 year exp); use Matlab MBC/CAGE (1 year exp); perform Engine Performance and Emissions Data analysis (3 years exp); develop extreme-ambient diesel engine calibration (1 year exp). 10% travel required.
