As a System Engineer onsite at Beloit Health, you will provide system implementation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of Cerner’s solutions and services. Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability and perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization. Your role also includes implementing monitoring for applications and servers, and respond to alarms in a timely manner, preventing client impact and performance degradation. Also, deploy physical and virtual servers, complete assigned incident management tasks, and deploy, setup, and maintain testing environments. You will also provide tier III and other support per service request.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems; or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 1 year experience as a system engineer
At least 1 year experience in a healthcare IT setting
Ability to work additional or irregular hours as needed including on-call rotation coverage as needed
May be required to lift up to 20 lbs, i.e. server and/or network equipment
Must live in or around the Beloit, Wisconsin area
