The SDET takes part equally in software development and testing processes. This position understands software internals, debugs code, automates repetitive tasks, and implements new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our quality process. The SDET works directly with both Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to understand project features, review technical designs, and implement automated test tools that help deliver quality features with efficiency.

Sets up, maintains, and enhances test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and builds test scenarios and acceptance tests
Understands the flow of code and how it interacts with different components
Understands project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases
Investigates customer problems referred by the technical support team, tests bugs, and creates/manages bug reports
Works with deployment teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs
Researches test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrades existing practices and processes
Manages the final quality on production releases

Experience with C.I. tools and general C.I. concepts
5+ years of development experience
Comfortable being a subject matter expert in test automation
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate cross-functionally
Ideal additional requirements:
Strong SQL skills to update, write and execute for database validation
Exposure to Agile management tooling
Git source code management
