As a Ports & Maritime Senior Design Engineer, you’ll have the chance to work with our global multi-disciplinary team of engineers working on ports and maritime projects all over the world. Working with other members of the team, you’ll assist and/or lead design teams in the design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to international multi-billion dollar port developments. You will work closely with our in-house coastal, civil, geotechnical, drafting, engineer-divers, and marine structural engineering team to delivery complex port, waterfront, and resiliency design projects. During your time with us, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of structural calculations/designs, contract drawings, specifications, design criteria and engineering reports, technical approaches and level of efforts for proposals, as well as serve as a conduit for resource and knowledge sharing between our NYC, Australia, and Dubai offices. You will also be expected to mentor our younger engineers and teaching them about the design and planning of port facilities. Minimum 10 years experience in the design of marine structures and facilities required

Familiarity with international codes such as ASCE, Eurocode, Australian Standards, PIANC, and British Standard required

Working knowledge of ACI and AISC required

Proficient in the use of STAAD and AutoCAD required

Masters degree in Civil Engineering preferred

Experience managing and leading a team of engineers on small to medium-sized marine structures projects preferred

Mooring analysis experience preferred

Bulk and material handling experience and knowledge preferred
