We are currently looking for a License Renewal Engineer to support clients in the U.S. This position will be based at ENERCON's headquarters in Kennesaw, GA.
In this role, your Key Responsibilities will be to:
Preparation of aging management program documents supporting license renewal implementation.
Preparation of gap analyses and 10 CFR 54.37(b) reviews.
Site coordination of implementation of license renewal commitments and aging management programs.
Preparation of Integrated Plant Assessments, including the development of scoping, screening and aging management reviews of systems, structures, and components.
Evaluation and update of time-limited aging analyses (TLAAs) relative to the extended operating period.
Preparation of License Renewal Applications (LRA) including FSAR update and support of the Environmental Report (Part 51) supplement.
As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:
BS in Engineering
3+ Years of experience supporting engineering activities at a nuclear power plant
1+ Years of experience in License Renewal experience in interpreting and applying NRC regulatory requirements and guidance.
Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may involve a client site assignment lasting several months at a time.
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings;
Ability to pass ENERCON and client specific background checks; and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
