Position Summary: The Process Control Engineering Manager has the opportunity to significantly impact Genesis Alkali's business across multiple plants in our Green River, Wyoming operations. The ideal candidate know Process Controls inside and out, from programing to what it takes to convert existing systems, install new systems, manage resources, and continue to make progress, sustain and improve the business. Building effective teams is key to managing the developing available talent, building talent pipelines, and assessing and managing contractors to meet current and future needs. The ideal candidate understands the systems in place and drives capital projects to meet existing and future Process Control needs.
Development of Process Control engineering support for the site
Development of Process Control engineering deliverables for capital projects
Responsible for the development and oversight of the Process Control Network
Technical leadership in Process Control
Area budget, including capital spending and forecasting
Provide support to the Project Engineering team
Long term site engineering plan for Process Control assets
Coordinate 5-year facility Process Control plans
Leadership and direction to the Process Control team, including the accountability for growth and development of talent in the organization
Champion the use of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools to support engineering projects
Coordinate with other engineering managers on projects to ensure standards and consistency across the site
Development of documents management systems to support technology, information systems, and key technical documents
Compliance with process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, and applicable codes

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Engineering
10 years of relevant functional process control engineering experience including:
Programing, projects, and intimate knowledge of DCS to effectively oversee & manage resources
Large scale, ideally industrial projects of at least one million dollars
5 years of supervisory experience
Ability to fit test for required PPE
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with multi-million dollar, large scale, industrial projects
Experience with PCS7, Measurex, and/or Foxboro
SAP or Oracle experience
