The Client Technology SCCM/VMware Workspace One Engineer will be responsible for deployment, management, and troubleshooting of programs, applications, updates, images, driver packages, and security patches through the enterprise of Windows 10 and Windows 7 desktops, laptops and tablets in accordance with release and change management policies and procedures. The engineer will integrate both vendor supplied and custom developed applications into the managed desktop environment and build software installation packages either using Flexera or SCCM. Lead in the planning, design, and implementation of Mobility solutions such as VMware Workspace One. In addition, the engineer will develop and maintain software tools and custom scripts, using PowerShell, to automate repetitive tasks, create and maintain a detailed knowledge of how to use, deploy and update packages and images, and train and perform knowledge transfer to several client technology engineers

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment, preferred.
Equivalent work experience considered
6 years of experience supporting Windows 10/7 at a Tier III level in a large complex corporate IT environment preferably in a health care setting
Working knowledge of SCCM, Flexera, Active Directory, Group Policy and PowerShell
Understand MSI packaging best practices and standards and an understanding of software deployment leveraging Microsoft SCCM.
Experience with VMware WorkSpace One including AirWatch and Horizon Air
Expertise in virtualizing applications through sequencing is desired, but not required
Strong critical thinking skills; ability to quickly comprehend problems, develop hypotheses, draw logical conclusions, develop solutions, and respond accordingly
Demonstrated excellence in oral and written comunciation skills
Ability to train and mentor others
Excellent customer service skills
ITIL Foundation desired
Physical Requirements - Sedentary Work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert/lift up to 10 lbs. force occasionally)
