Rapiscan Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Works with a cross functional team across organizational levels and divisions continuous improvement.
Applies Quality Engineering tools and methods such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, design of experiments, seven basic quality tools, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to improve business processes.
Utilizing CATSWEB software, lead CAPA and complaint investigations. Analyze root cause using 5-Why or similar methodologies. Implement containment, corrective actions, and preventive actions. Respond to customer using 7-step, 8-D or similar formats.
Provides knowledge and assistance to the new product development introduction (NPI) process.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Support development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation.
Support internal and external audits.

Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 3-5+ years’ experience
Masters a plus with 1-3 years’ experience
Experience working in manufacturing shop environment.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Must be able to demonstrate basic engineering/ applied science knowledge including but not limited to math, electric circuits, materials, and use to hand tools.
Demonstrated track record leading/implementing Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing projects.
Knowledge of ISO9001.
Knowledge of AS9102 for FAI
Physical requirements include the ability to lift about 25 pounds and the ability to walk throughout the facility.
Knowledge of operation and testing of trace instruments.
Demonstrated experience operating across disciplines and organizations levels.
Working Knowledge of Configuration Management
