A career in Technical Training will provide the opportunity to provide training that is required to perform maintenance and work on infrastructure, such as operation qualification training regulated by the government. This typically includes overseeing the development and implementation of such activities, collaborating with other functions to ensure training material is accurate and reflective of skills needed/desired.
Roles within Technical Training are responsible for the overall learning and development for the organization. The team is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating employee development plans and programs to support the organizational needs to comply with state regulations.
Basic Function (Summary) :
Provides dedicated technical training focused on IT systems for operations and contractor employees. Focus will be on preparing candidates to successfully utilize and better leverage IT systems. This role is highly collaborative role that involves close partnership with operations team, internal HR, outside contractors, and other business units.

Advanced knowledge of Maximo
CC&B, GIS and ORS knowledge a plus
Excellent Communication Skills required
2 years in addition to the required years of work experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
Experience in use of work management systems
Operations experience a plus
Prior training experience a plus
Proficiency in Maximo required. GIS, ORS, CC&B and other systems a plus
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Curriculum development experience a plus
Microsoft Office including Powerpoint
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Knowledge and understanding of specific operating areas and gas industry, evaluation methodologies and ability to evaluate learning or performance improvement solutions.
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
Operator Qualifications a plus, but not required
Valid Driver’s License
Provide systems training to new and current employees within the company. May be assigned to field evaluations according to business needs. Provide team direction and support through direct supervision of employees and build strong working relationships Provide training to contractors as required. Conduct training, identify problems with systems use and develop corrective actions to correct them. Develop and maintain related curriculum to support operations. Develops and monitors spending against the departmental budget. Lead training meetings and committee(s) Provide technical operations training as assigned Performs other duties as assigned.
