Moffatt & Nichol is actively searching for an Entry-level Structural Engineer to join our team in Woodlands, TX. The placed candidate will perform planning and design for waterfront and highway structures projects including: piers and wharves, marinas, breasting and mooring dolphins, bulkheads, and bridges. The ideal candidate has entry to 2 years of experience working in the A/E/C industry and will have ideally just graduated with their Master's degree.
Duties and responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer to perform assignments that require marine structural design, analysis, and calculations
Apply standard engineering techniques for analysis, design, inspection of waterfront structures, asset management, submarine systems, and other maritime projects
Work closely with other structural engineers as well as other disciplines on multi discipline projects

Entry to 2 years of experience in structural engineering
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis
Engineer In Training (EIT)
Ability to get a TWIC card
Experience using Microsoft Office
Working knowledge using structural design & analysis software applicable to marine and highway structures such as SAP2000, L-Pile, Cwalsht, etc.
Working knowledge using Matlab
