One World Technologies, Inc. dba TTI Power Equipment, has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an Automation Engineer - Manufacturing that will provide the necessary engineering services required to introduce a new or reconditioned product and coordinate's revision levels in the manufacturing department and processes. This includes but not limited to the manufacturing processes and assembly of new product - Pressure Washers, Generators, Lawn Equipment and reconditioning of Lawn and Garden and Power Tools. Act as manufacturing consultant to D&D in early design stages of a new product based on existing equipment capabilities along with ease to automate. Provide cost data and timing of operations information as required. Interact with all activity necessary to bring product from design stage to mass production. Assist manufacturing/reconditioning operations with production problem solving and cost reductions.
Design and develop automated test systems and assembly equipment, including software and hardware development
Create project timelines, capital spending requests and communicate status periodically
Assist w/ preliminary and final cost information on products as it relates to manufacturing equipment and processes
Assist in preventive maintenance program for assigned area. This includes creating suggested PM lists, documenting failure trends, and adding spare components to MRO inventory
Implement cost reductions to assure competitiveness
Manage projects from beginning to implementation including machine commissioning and all associated documentation
Establish technical manuals, drawings, standard operation instructions, schematics, etc
Create scope of work documents and work with integrators to build equipment to TTI specifications.
Assist creating and maintaining TTI equipment standards lists
Identify, design, and implement equipment improvements to reduce downtime/short stops
Design systems and interfaces to capture and display production data.
Act as technical resource to other departments to address and resolve equipment/automation issues.

CAD experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc)
PLC programming and networking experience (AB preferred)
Experience with machine retrofit, major modifications, and new build
Machine data collection and networking experience preferred
Strong electrical standard knowledge
Robotic programming experience
Lead and advise other teams on machine capabilities and options
Hands-on experience with machine troubleshooting, wiring, and commissioning
Highly motivated individual that seeks to make improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
BS in ME, EE, Automation or related field or equivalent experience
