Perform CAE Analysis and provide direction to improve dash systems design
Benchmark performance of competitive products
Review emerging technologies
Apply knowledge from competitive benchmarking and CAE investigations (sensitivity/optimization studies) to develop innovative structural concepts
Align / develop objective targets for systems, sub-systems and components
Apply systems engineering tools to manage/optimize attributes across disciplines
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
5+ years of experience with structural safety CAE
5+ years of experience with safety CAE toolset (examples: LS-Dyna, Pre- and Post- Processors: Hypermesh, Hyperview, ANSA, Metapost)
2+ years of experience with CAE optimization tools (examples: Optistruct, Tosca, ModeFrontier, HEEDS)
Experience with component & full vehicle safety testing.
Basic CAD Knowledge; Experience with CAD data viewer (e.g., team center)
Programing skills (e.g., Python, Matlab)
Desirable to have expertise in Occupant Protection with experience in LS Dyna / Madymo
Knowledge of global crash safety requirements & regulations
