The Mechanical Engineer will have excellent analytic and problem solving skills. As a Mechanical Engineer you will solve interesting and challenging problems that arise in a range of radar and associated command & control systems. The Mechanical Engineer will lead significant aspects of a project, including research, design, evaluation, installation, operation, and maintenance. The Mechanical Engineer will solicit new business and provide technical customer service.
Experience: A strong candidate will have 3-5 years of experience. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Cyber Security is preferred. Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and rugged electronic packaging is desired.
The successful candidate will:
Be a US citizen capable of attaining a US Security Clearance. Candidates already in possession of a clearance are preferred.
Have an understanding of Radar types, concepts and theory of operation
Be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs alone, or 100lbs in a 2-person lift
Be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
Be able to plan and execute radar test plans
Be able to work well both individually and as part of a team.
