Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will lead the resolution and communication of defects found in the manufacturing assembly process and ensure the root cause is identified and corrective action is implemented to prevent reoccurrence.

Position Responsibilities:
Corrective Action / Continuous Improvement Methodology to include Statistical Analysis and Project Management techniques
Inspection technology used in the Composite, Assembly, Flight, Fabrication, and/or Machining Center environment.
Effective communication skills required to interface with executive management and customer representatives.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Access, Word and Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Corrective Action lead on supplier issues
Continuous Improvement
Customer Service and Support
Inspection Processes/Techniques
Quality Systems & Records
Quality Program Management
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field.

Experience:
One year of experience in quality assurance or one year work related experience in aircraft manufacturing/production environment.

Preferred:
American Society of Quality (ASQ)
Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
