Temporary Parts Inventory Controller
Position Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the temporary parts inventory controller will be to
Set up the parts storage/inventory area
Receive components and/or assemblies from suppliers and place in storage/inventory area in an organized and efficient manner
Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and consumed. This may include manual data entry and/or bar/QR code tracking.
Monitor stock of inventory and inform team of status of inventory to meet the planned build cadence.
Create "build kits” based on the Bill of Materials for the assembly team to meet the planned build cadence
Record item serial number for each "build kit” in the build book
Deliver "build kits” to the assembly team
Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory
Provide clear spoken and written information to the team regarding the ability of inventory to meet the planned build cadence
Cooperate with engineers, managers and operations personnel in the coordination of materials to support build activities
Qualifications
Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office products such as Excel and Word
High school diploma required
Optional: Forklift operation experience
