The Food & Beverage (F&B) Global Business Un it product development team is looking for a motivated individual to fill an open Senior Software Develop er position. Everyday responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop, debug, and design software cloud native applications and cloud platform services as extensions to and in support of F&B core product suite
Provide technical leadership to other software developers
Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and/or supervise lower level personnel.
Analyze 3rd party API specifications for integration with core product features/functionality. Perform gap analysis and design API integration solutions.
Interpret functional requirements and translate to development user stories and sub-tasks
Creat e design /architecture documents for roadmap development initiatives
Assist in support/troubleshooting early adopter release deployments
Candidate must meet the following requirements:
7+ yearsâ€™ experience in software development with working knowledge of the following technologies: C# , ASP .NET, REST web services, Oracle Database , Docker/Kubernetes, cloud native principles, AuthZ/AuthN/OAuth2, Git, Agile/scrum, Jira, Confluence.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and must be comfortable communicating internally as well as externally with Oracle F&B partners.
Experience creating internal as well as external technical documentation
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
Food & Beverage industry
Restaurant point-of-sale software
Food delivery platform solutions
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
