Job Summary:
PCI Group is the leading provider of mission critical communications for businesses where security of customer-centric data is paramount, precision and accuracy are crucial and compliance is a must.
The Senior .Net Developer will support and potentially lead the automated job control system that enables the company to process jobs with minimal manual interaction. The developer will work in all phases of development from design, development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 5-8 years experience including extensive experience in solving problems of varying complexities
Experience with VB.NET / C# / ASP.NET and experience with .NET Framework
Experience with MS SQL server 2005-2012 (T-SQL), ADO.Net, Win Forms, Stored Procedures, and SSRS
Understanding n-tier software architectures
Must be able to comprehend the full scope of a project and make the best suggestions and methods to develop, test, implement, and maintain a project
Experience revising software code to make it more efficient and must be able to detect, identify and resolve bugs in various code bases, stored procedures and queries
Has the ability to experiment and test solutions for problems, validate assumptions for them, and the ability to associate one idea to another to reach a solution
Ability to consistently improve the quality and structure of the previously written code in VB.Net
Excellent communication skills as you will mentor or lead the mid-level developers of the team, as well as assign tasks to team members in a balanced and effective manner
Ability to multitask and work independently to solve various problems and rectify complicated problems through the application of design patterns
Will comply with all current and future security and compliance requirements

Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery
Education/Experience:
5-8 years’ VB.NET / C# / ASP.NET
Bachelor’s degree preferred
