The Laboratory for Physical Sciences currently has an opening for an Entry Level Process Engineer. This position will support two research efforts, Integrated Photonics and 2D Materials, with process development, device fabrication, and materials testing and characterization. The bulk of this work will take place in the LPS Class 100 cleanroom and process experience in photolithography, wet etch, and dry etch techniques is desired.
A bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering is required. Candidate must demonstrate mechanical inclination, basic troubleshooting skills, a willingness to learn and possess a positive, team-oriented attitude.
