We focus on creating hands-on print and online digital products for PreK-5 and special needs students, as well as people of all ages learning English as a second language.
What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot production issues and work effectively to identify and address problems
- Ability to jump from backend to frontend development on demand
- React to changes and seize improvement opportunities
- Work as a team player with other developers, creators, and strategists
What Skills Do You Need?
- Full-stack development experience
- Object-oriented programming experience
- C# or similar experience
- JavaScript, JS frameworks
- TypeScript experience preferred
- Experience in general web development (academic and professional)
- Mobile web development experience is a plus
- CSS, SASS, Node Package Manager (NPM)
- Ability to craft custom applications
- Casual game development experience is a plus
- Code to standards
- Understanding of networking and internet mechanics
- Maturity, judgment, and analytical skills
- Identify and solve ambiguous/undefined problems – ability to think abstractly
- Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet deadlines
