Position Summary and Responsibilities
Teledyne Brown Engineering, Maritime Systems is seeking an upcoming or recent Electrical Engineer graduate to perform electrical design and analysis tasks for surface and undersea vehicle design, manufacturing and testing. Salary offers will depend of experience and qualifications.
Key skills include electronic design (digital/analog), power systems, RF systems, motion control, embedded microprocessor systems, PCB design, EMI.EMC, data acquisition. Professional coop and intern experience in some of these areas is a plus. Job involves developing designs from a set of requirements and seeing them through manufacturing and testing so hand-on experience with hardware is a plus.
Candidate must hold a SECRET security clearance OR be able to acquire one.
Requires a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering and a basic knowledge of analysis, design and test techniques. No prior work experience is required. Co-op or related sub-professional experience is desirable, but no mandatory.
Good writing, communication and team building skills are required.
