Responsibilities
Perspecta is the prime System Engineering and Integration contractor for a National Communications Program and provides full lifecycle, end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to a National Customer. The National Communications Program’s mission focus is to provide worldwide space and ground communications services utilizing state-of-the-art communications technologies. Perspecta leads a geographically dispersed team to support the design, development, acquisition and evolution of this complex multi-segmented communications system. The INTREPID program provides transport system engineering expertise to the customer to develop new capabilities that meet user needs. The external facing activities are in a Services paradigm, while internally they are determining the acquisitions required to ensure the services are available as promised to the user community.

Perspecta is looking for an entry-level professional to work with small teams of engineers performing technical analyses, modeling, and simulation to support total system lifecycle and mission optimization studies of complex systems.

Required Skills:
BS or MS degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
High degree of computer literacy with ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools
Competence/experience in at least one of the following: Matlab, C++, C#, Python
Ability to speak confidently and clearly in order to participate in and brief at technical meetings
Capability to write clearly and articulately
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
TS/SCI Clearance (Must be able to obtain clearance for this position)

Desired Skills:
Competence/experience in multiple of the following: Matlab, Python, C++, C#, Perl, SAS, or R
Strong analysis skills with the ability to identify and accurately describe system issues
Experience in Data Mining, Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictive Analytics and Reporting using various methods and tools
Experience in modeling and simulation techniques
Qualifications
Requires 0 to 2 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years no degree.
