Job Duties in Brief:
The PE IT team supports Citco’s fast growing Private Equity (PE) Fund Administration business. The data and applications environment supports our global PE business teams and clients with approximately $400 billion under administration. The Senior Application Developer works closely within a cross-functional organization of business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to understand business- related challenges, design process and technical solutions, and, ultimately, solve problems to address business-motivated changes. It's time to add someone to our team who can take the design, development, and support of our PE applications to the next level.

About You:
As Citco continues our IT transformation, the ideal candidate will need to be able to slide into traditional waterfall projects as well as agile projects; however, this role will have a strong emphasis on agile projects. To be successful, the individual must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and an ability and willingness to try new and modern technologies that meet the requirements of the product. Strong knowledge of FIS Investran, Microsoft stack application architecture, system software administration, coupled with solid, test-driven development practices are keys to a successful candidate.
6+ years of professional programming experience developing applications using C# and other .NET technologies, including VSTO, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Services and SQL Server technologies, including SSRS and SSIS
Working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles in the Private Equity area
Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting FIS Investran solutions
Strong knowledge of the Investran data model, Accounting and reporting hierarchies, transaction types, batch templates, Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility, and Report Wizard
Working knowledge of the Investran SDK and API
Experience with SQL optimization and SQL Server performance tuning
Outstanding troubleshooting skills
Strong knowledge of software design patterns, OOD and DDD
Experience with continuous integration frameworks and processes, test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing environments
Knowledge of Agile development best practices and experience with project management tools such as Jira
Knowledge of and experience with SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, SCRUM and KANBAN
Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker with good communication and team collaboration skills
Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent
Experience with workflow-based applications is a plus
Experience in systems integration, web service and ETL development is a plus
Adaptive to change and feedback from team members is a plus
