The duties will include the following:
Plan and execute testing on exterior-related aspects of vehicle performance according to customer defined test procedures to evaluate product designs
Propose design changes and correlate these modifications with product designers and other test groups to insure feasibility and manufacturability
Accurately document test results according to customer format in order and explain test results to technical experts and department management
Work with CAE analysts to predict performance of future product designs; propose and evaluate concepts for weight reduction ideas and design optimization
Identify and propose potential improvements in test procedures, manpower utilization, and test scheduling with the goal of reducing cost and increasing productivity
Services will be delivered at a client facility in Raymond, Ohio.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerodynamic, or related Engineering with a minimum of three years of experience with process systems, five preferred. CAE experience is a plus. Experience with test operations or infrastructure maintenance is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Automotive background with a broad range of skills desired. Must be proficient in the use of Personal Computers. Must speak and write English fluently. Additional relevant education may be substituted for a portion of the experience.
