We have an opportunity for an experienced BUSINESS ANALYST (BA) to join our Energy Systems America (ESA) ERP Team at our Burnaby, BC or Bellingham, WA facility. This is an especially exciting time for our team as we drive the integration of our core ERP systems and processes as part of our transition into the Enersys family of companies.

Job Purpose
Reporting to the ESA ERP Manager, the Business Analyst (Manufacturing & Operations) will work with process owners, business leaders, and our PMO to be the key resource on sustainment and business changing ERP projects

This role will be responsible for managing system enhancements and projects with multiple cross-functional team members; mapping existing operational capabilities against modern industry solutions, and assessing viability of potential opportunities offered by the latest industry trends like Industry 4.0, Connected Factory, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitating organizational change management strategies/plans, approach, and tactics with different business units
Collaborating with business process owners/users to prioritize, design, and implement improved processes and tools to support the business
Providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by stakeholders
Collaborating with cross functional teams to test and upgrade systems/solutions as required
Managing project deadlines for defined tasks/projects; documenting, tracking, and facilitating project discussions and action items
Tracking of work progress and project status on a project-by-project basis
Helping with system deployment: user setup, support, and troubleshooting

Qualifications
A degree or diploma in computer systems, business, or industrial engineering
5+ years’ experience in business or systems analysis in a hi-tech, manufacturing environment
Experience in stakeholder requirement gathering, process mapping, fit/gap analysis, and preparation of functional design documents
Subject matter expertise (SME) in warehousing and distribution optimization, planning and forecast optimization, and/or manufacturing optimization are assets
Experience in implementing and supporting manufacturing or distribution automation systems is an asset
Knowledge of MES (manufacturing execution systems) and WMS (warehouse management systems) is desirable
Experience with our enterprise applications which are Infor SyteLine ERP, SAP (PP,MM), and related reporting platforms, such as Cognos, Tableau, SSRS, SAP Reporting and Microsoft BI are assets
Superior written and verbal communications skills
Strong ability to develop rapport and buy-in with stakeholders
Very detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
A team player capable of interacting professionally with internal customers including senior leadership, multi-disciplined team members, and external consultants
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing implementation of changes
Ability to thrive in an ever-changing work environment
Ability to achieve deadlines with strong time management skills
