Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives. MFC has five principal product categories that correspond to the vital capabilities it provides our warfighters and civilian customers in their defining moments. We are seeking highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic individuals to join and contribute significantly to our Program Management Organization (PMO) for successful enablement of this program.
This position will be responsible for partnering with Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, programs, and Lines of Business to enable the accomplishment of our Program objectives. This will take the form of supporting scope refinement and clarification within the IPTs, capturing system needs, validating system requirements, project planning, project deployment, estimating budgeting needs, and facilitating interaction between cross-functional teams.
This position will also be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of the execution of the work scope. This includes establishing project planning, monitoring expenditure, and monthly reporting using an internal system of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
Additional responsibilities to include business case development and tracking, identifying schedule and cost risks and opportunities, and defining, controlling and implementing scope changes as the program progresses.

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
- Experience with Tableau or similar BI analytics tools
- Experience analyzing and modifying business processes
- Eligibility for Secret clearance is required for this role
- Design Thinking trainer certification
- Change Management certification (Prosci or equivalent)
- Experience with APQP
- Lean Six Sigma Certification desired
