Responsibilities:
Responsible for the PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and Corrective Actions for their respective areas.
Perform root cause analysis and transform the analysis into the appropriate records, documents and communications for internal and external distribution
Support Measurement System Analysis including calibration records
Application of statistical techniques and assistance to others as required.
Track progress of Advanced Quality Planning activities
Manage Document Control and Released Document Databases
Monitor and help control scrap; including pareto and corrective action analysis.
Monitor, analyze and report on facility key indicators and associated improvement action plans.
Assist in supplier development as required.
Assist with process improvements and data analysis.
Support continuous improvement activities.
Manage change management process for internal, supplier, and customer initiated changes
Perform customer concern resolutions and enter all responses to the customer in required formats

Proficient in the understanding of Engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
Good understanding of APQP and program management techniques.

Typical Experience Required/Preferred (include management experience or other specifics):

Bachelor’s degree or better in Engineering, preferably in Quality, Industrial or Mechanical engineering. (Work experience in lieu of degree will be considered).
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, with experience in the automotive industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949
Experience with Manufacturing and/or Engineering a plus.
Demonstrated competence in Quality related statistics.
Certified Internal Quality Auditor for ISO/IATF 16949 preferred
Experience with AIAG Automotive Core Tools, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
Excellent mechanical aptitude.
Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision
