Role Summary

The ERP Leader is responsible for the management and advancement of the company-wide ERP environment. This individual leads a team of ERP technical leads and business analysts working across Platforms, Finance & Functions, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, and Architecture, Data, Integration, & Enhancements. The ERP Leader guides both the maintenance of ERP to meet Corteva’s ongoing needs and the re-design of ERP components, when appropriate, to achieve transformational outcomes for Corteva.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Develop Corteva ERP objectives in alignment with overall Corteva objectives, meeting current and emerging business needs

Identify, recommend, implement, and support ERP solutions. Ensure alignment with technology roadmaps. Envision, navigate, and decide about multi-year projects and enhancements

Create a culture that embraces industry best practices and innovation through collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders

Apply deep ERP expertise to solve complex technological and business problems

Lead teams of software developers / engineers and business analysts towards efficient solutions. Allocate individuals across projects to meet quality, cost, and time objectives

Report on overall ERP and project-specific progress

Ensure funding well spent across ERP development

Estimate high-level costs for projects; build and enforce strong financial governance and controls

Develop and maintain close relationship with associated functions within Corteva IT, including Business Partners, the Innovation Center of Excellence and Product Leaders

Ensure ERP projects are successful according to Corteva partners and delivered according to objectives, including quality, cost, and time

ERP project portfolio moves Corteva’s ERP toward long-term business objectives, with appropriate balance on enhancement and ongoing maintenance


Position Requirements / Technical Competencies

Deep knowledge of ERP platforms and applications

Experience leading enterprise-wide ERP implementations and consolidations

Run ERP operations in a hybrid in-source/outsource staffing model for a large enterprise, as this role will need to do both transformation and operations

SAP S/4 HANA preferred

Expertise with SW development methodologies and tools in an Agile Environment

Experience with cost & resource estimation for development projects

Experience and Education Requirements

Minimum 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in an ERP Leadership role

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
