Senior Development Engineer

As a leading provider of media analytics and marketing accountability solutions for brand marketers, is eager to engage an experienced, creative, hardworking, and self-motivated .NET developer in a full-time opportunity.

KEY OUTCOMES

As a Senior Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Support, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft .Net/C# and supporting technologies
Experience in Developing for Azure Cloud is a definite plus
Work closely with the Quality Assurance group to assist in developing test plans and scripts or even perform testing on applications
Assess and troubleshoot reported application defects and issues while identifying false positives and operator errors
Closely Follow standard agile development best practices and standards
Provide application-to-database support for DBAs and collaborate on optimizing application query performance
Work closely and diligently with the product development team to resolve bugs and defects relating to our applications
Follow, support and optimize the MillwardBrown Digital Ignite processes and supporting applications
Provide guidance and estimates for project development efforts
Work directly with application stakeholders to determine requirement and project scopes
Help maintain documentation for development architecture, process flow and data sources

CAPABILITIES

To succeed, you’ll need:
Expert level in Microsoft technologies, including C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, and SQL
Experience in developing for Azure Cloud
Understanding of multi-threading applications
Use of Task Parallel Library, await/async tasks
Networking for fetching/moving large HTTP log files
Large file parsing and ELT processes (Python or similar)
SQL for loading/querying data
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members
