DENSO is looking for a Design Engineer 1 to fill a position with their Climate Control 1 Department.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilizes computer-aided engineering tools in order to create, change and issue component, system and assembly drawings under the supervision of more experienced engineers.
Reviews customer's requirements and specifications for product(s) and identifies issues and changes, where appropriate. Converts customer technical requirements to detailed product requirements.
Conducts design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable. Selects and tests materials, ingredients or components that will be suitable for the product. Develops innovative ways to increase the recycling of materials and decrease the carbon footprint of manufactured products as designed.
Oversees the assembly and testing of engineering prototypes as needed. Documents, reviews and approves information obtained from product testing. Perfects engineering designs based upon testing results.
Analyzes the results of customer warranty, manufacturing and validation test failures to redesign current products to improve performance. • Assists with creating test and technical reports. May deliver simple or routine presentations.
Analyzes current processes, procedures and systems and makes recommendations for improvement for own job.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical or other engineering or related field
0-3 years of relevant experience
