We're seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Junior Network Engineer to be a core member of our Global Network Services team. Position requires a basic understanding and willingness to learn the Networking concepts for implementing and managing high availability, mission critical infrastructure.
We require a dedicated problem solver who can multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Position will work closely with other Global Network Engineers and other technical groups to help support small, medium and large-scale initiatives.
Assist in maintaining Inventory for the Global Network Services components
Assist in troubleshoot tier 3 and tier 4 Network incidents.
Experience with and understanding of Basic Network on how it integrates with other systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Entry Level knowledge & skills - typically 0-1 year of related experience
Prior work or intern experience in IT department Knowledge of Systems Integration. Configuration of switches and routers. Knowledge of telecommunications equipment, information systems, servers, networking protocols, and end-user computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Some hands-on design, implementation and/or support experience in any of the following areas and passion to develop a broad skill set in these areas is required
Bachelor's Degree is required
