Getting a mortgage is but one step along a journey of additionally required services—each with its own supplemental experience. Our team will build systems that unify this ecosystem into a seamless, referable experience for consumers and deliver high quality value to the end user as quickly as possible consistently over time.
We’re looking for team members whose curiosity and drive will propel this next generation experience. You’ll work alongside business line owners, product managers, and design in an iterative and collaborative environment. As part of the team, you will play a major role in guiding the direction of several fast-growing product lines that lead the way in our Movement of Change.
How you’ll contribute:
You will implement new internal and external facing UI / UX for platform owned products.
You will revamp existing UI to utilize components built within other teams or by outside vendors.
You will partner with your team leader the senior UX/UI designer and work collaboratively with oother dev team engineers to deliver new features and/or revamp and improve existing features to the end user as quickly as possible.
You’ll bring your experience to bear to help to improve the processes and patterns of the team.
Expected to work in an Agile-focused environment utilizing best practices related to high quality code development, release management, and SDLC.
Who you are:
You have 2+ years of experience building high-quality production software.
You have experience with one or more modern Java and JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. We use React, but we know you’ll pick it up quickly if you haven’t used it in the past.
You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft Web API.
On the backend we utilize Java, Python, and JSON to drive our middleware layer.
You’ve worked in a modern fast paced product development organization and can effectively collaborate with product and design to guide complex projects to successful outcomes.
Experience and an understanding of data and databases, API gateways.
Integrator experience specifically Rest APIs, Soap APIs, SQL stored procedures and microservices
Understand of and experience in Azure infrastructure
Core Technologies
We write frontend features with React in ES6/Typescript. We find that typechecking helps us catch errors earlier, test better, and ultimately ship quicker and with higher quality.
Our team also builds and owns its own deployment infrastructure and application serving pipeline, so we can ship whenever we need to and have full control over making the delivery pipeline as quick and seamless as possible.
On the backend, we write Node / Express in ES6/Typescript.
Application hosting environment is Microsoft Azure focused.
Within One Month You'll:
Complete our company-wide onboarding program, which will orient you to Movement teach you about our company. We will also cover our dev process how we build, test, and release software, as well as give you an understanding of where Movement lives in the lending ecosystem and why what we’re doing is so critical
Ramp up on our tech stack and ship your first feature. Almost all new hires have code in production by the end of their first week!
Spend lots of time the dev team and transition team, who’ll help you navigate our codebase, our release process, and answer any questions you might have
