We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead international locomotive programs. You will work
closely with product managers and systems engineers, and lead cross-functional teams to execute multi-million
dollar locomotive contracts. The role requires coordination with international regional business leaders to deliver
projects on time and budget, meeting all contractual requirements, and satisfying our customers.
A primary focus of the role will be leading export kit programs and working closely with Wabtec international build
partners. You will join with warehouse and supply chain leaders to achieve efficient / on-time kit deliveries supporting
manufacturing build schedules, and overall program success.
+ Create integrated program management plans. Lead, manage, monitor and control all project work.
+ Successfully close programs and effectively handoff to the services teams. Capture and communicate lessons learned.
+ Manage contract deliverables, develop a program WBS, and ensure traceability to appropriate engineering requirements.
+ Manage program scope changes and lead business tollgate reviews.
+ Develop and manage detailed and harmonized program schedules. Create milestone schedules for proposals.
+ Forecast, manage, and control total program costs including NRE, ACO, and logistics.
+ Drive revenue, cash, and margin attainment. Develop program financial forecasts.
+ Incorporate the quality policy regarding planning, managing and controlling project and product quality requirements.
+ Facilitate customer inspections, testing, and overall acceptance of locomotives and contract deliverables.
+ Identify, acquire, and manage the resources needed for the successful completion of the project
+ Lead executive program reviews. Ensure timely / appropriate program communications, including business letters to customers.
+ Identify, document, and mitigate program risks. Maintain program risk registers.
+ Drive and document sourcing strategies to meet program objectives (make vs. buy / x-chart).
+ Ensure proper component demand is loaded and PPAP requirements are met on time.
+ Identify the people, groups, or organizations impacted by the project. Analyze and manage stakeholder expectations.
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
+ Strong competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
+ BS/MS in electrical or mechanical engineering
+ Experience with Oracle SCM and ASCP or equivalent
+ PMP certification
+ Demonstrated locomotive product line, systems or manufacturing knowledge
+ Commercial operations / contract management experience
