Summary

Responsible for ensuring that the training and educational needs of employees are met by creating, developing, writing and implementing training material, programs and curriculums. Responsible for coordinating initial training for new hires and in-services to all staff. Responsible for Learning Management Systems (LMS) records, development of online tests and assisting customers with the creation and maintenance of Development Plans using the LMS.

Description

40% Develop, create, write, modify and maintain training materials for new hires as well as in-services for systems changes, workflows, create online tests, etc. Assist with program development and training plans. Develop evaluative information and coordinate the approval of assessment tools. Collaborate with team members to create and train staff on system upgrades and/or changes. Assist clients with troubleshooting e-learning navigation and completions.
35% Provide training to staff on Learning Management System (LMS) functions needed for members of Management and staff.
20% Perform administrative duties including maintenance of training records, report production within LMS. Responsible for all LMS Administrator duties. Collect and analyze data from assessments and evaluations and provide feedback to management. Monitor collaboration discussions within the LMS and increase user engagement as well as innovate ways to better utilize tool.
5% Liaison with departments, divisions, and outside entities to assure training needs for area are met.
This position will assist both the LMS Specialist positions and the e-Learning Developers with creating online tests, monitoring and creating development plans, assisting the department with implementing and monitoring collaboration centers, etc. using the Learning Management System (LMS).

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Education or other job related field OR
Associate's degree PLUS three years of job related training experience OR
Six years training or insurance industry work experience

Required Education:

Six years training or insurance industry work experience

Required Work Experience:
One year of training experience with instructor led and e-learning training, specifically facilitating and troubleshooting e-learning training completions
One year of business writing experience
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office to include Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Work Experience:
Administrative Learning Management experience

Strong human relations skills
Strong time management and planning skills
Able to work independently and self-motivated
Excellent oral and written communication and planning skills
Working knowledge of PC based applications
Strong organizational skills necessary to schedule, arrange prioritize and deliver work assignments as assigned
Ability to use audio visual and other training aids equipment

Required Software and Tools:
Microsoft Office to include Word and PowerPoint
