Position Summary and Responsibilities
Teledyne Brown is seeking an Electrical Industrial Engineer to join our team with experience designing and working with automated control systems that will be used to manage the laboratory under construction.
The applicant will actively monitor the laboratory during live fire testing and ensuring the facility maintains an operational readiness for assuring the facility remains available.
The applicant will also have experience and will maintain the control logic that will be critical for maintaining the laboratory environment.
Hands on facility experience with fluid systems is also required. Instrumentation and control logic and programming related devices is critical. This applicant will work closely with the Test Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, other engineering staff and technicians to ensure facility is online and operating within specification.
Education and Experience
Ten (10) years of experience
Experience in the use and design of automation systems
Experience with these systems in factories or other high availability environments
BS in Electrical Engineering, Civil, Industrial, Mechanical or related discipline
Professional experience may be substituted with educational requirements assessed on a case-by-case basis
Active SECRET Clearance is preferred. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
An ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST), related IEEE certification or similar industry recognized certification is preferred.
Due to classified work at the facility and related access restrictions, successful applicants must maintain U.S. Citizenship to allow the person to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
