ERG is seeking entry-level engineers with degrees in Environmental Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Environmental Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related degrees. The position is located at ERG’s Chantilly, VA office and will support EPA and other federal clients. Specific duties include:
Evaluate industrial processes for water use and wastewater generation.
Conduct industrial sector reviews by evaluating reported environmental data to identify outliers or industry trends.
Evaluate wastewater and drinking water treatment at industrial or municipal facilities.
Assess stormwater management and green infrastructure.
Evaluate pollution prevention technologies.
Conduct environmental impact assessments.
Conduct facility inspections to assess compliance with environmental regulations.

Candidates must have:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Environmental Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related degrees.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required).
0 to 5 years of experience.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Competence using spreadsheet and database software to compile, analyze, and present data.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
Ability and interest in traveling up to 25%.
Ideal candidates will have:
Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
Technical writing experience.
Coursework or experience in wastewater treatment, drinking water treatment, and/or stormwater.
