Description of Work: The designer will primarily create cabling diagrams along with wiring tables for integration of new systems into existing Naval Ship Systems. The designer will also assist in analyzing documentation for equipment installed in the alteration packages on board submarines.
The Designer will be a part of our growing design and installation team, must be motivated, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of applicable experience
1-4 years of professional experience in electrical system design
Proficient in AutoCAD software
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with drafting standards and practices
Must be able to calculate Amps and BTU’s
Ability to work closely with Subject Matter Experts
Knowledge of submarines, Military Specifications, previous defense industry experience, and knowledge of existing ships systems is a plus.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance.
