In the role of, IT Programmer/Analyst, you will provide leadership and mentorship in the design, development, implementation, configuration, integration, and support of the various technology tools used by Portfolio Management.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, technical design, application development and architecture, systems integration, requirements gathering, request prioritization, resource planning, vendor management, documentation and validation testing of investment applications.
You will be part of an architecture transformation to microservices and cloud-based solutions.
You will work with complex data sets to provide solutions with an emphasis on scalability and analytic robustness, including structured & unstructured data.
Closely follow application life cycle standards and procedures.
You are continuously building relationships with internal business partners and vendors.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5+ years of IT experience leading technology initiatives
Building applications in Java, with experience in Spring Framework
You have experience in investment management, investment operations, or a financial systems background. Knowledge of mutual funds, financial securities, and ETFs.
Experience working with sophisticated enterprise users to perform business analysis, extract requirements, implement solutions, and provide training and support.
Experience with design and development of microservices architecture (RESTful, JSON).
Experience working with and integrating vendor provided enterprise applications.
You have knowledge of formal application development methodologies.
You have knowledge of project management & Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban.
Proficiency in the clear expression of ideas both verbally and in writing with business and technical teams.
Experience working with market data providers like MSCI Barra, Bloomberg, FactSet, Thompson Reuters.
You are familiar with statistical computing languages - Python, Matlab, SAS, R.
Experience with SQL and relational database platforms (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) and familiar with non-relationship datastores.
You have familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Experience with AWS or cloud-based platforms, and containers is preferred.
Experience building applications using CI/CD pipeline.
Experience implementing and supporting Research Management Systems.
Experience working with and supporting a quantitative investment team using advanced statistical methods and empirical analytics.
Experience as a full stack web developer
Experience with Mulesoft and the Anypoint platform
