Perform complex test engineering activities throughout assigned software life cycle.Design, evaluate and implement test tools, plans, procedures and cases based upon requirements.Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports and metrics.Document test results, analysis reports, logs and metrics.Recommend program improvements or corrections.
Specific responsibilities include:
Collaborate with business SMEs, requirements analysts, application developers and other teams to develop appropriate risk based performance test strategies, plans, and cases
Actively participate in change impact assessments in order to develop appropriate functional and regression test scenarios
Work with Project team to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Translate business requirements and functional designs into test cases
Collaborate with support teams to ensure complex test issues are resolved in a timely manner
Develop high quality test deliverables on time and within the constraints defined for the project
Perform testing for all releases
Provide oversight and guidance to other testers and members of the team
Recommend manual and/or automated improvements to the testing process
Perform all other duties, responsibilities, and/or position requirements as assigned
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years required
Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines
Experience leading or supporting product Quality Assurance (QA), including conducting technical, functional, and end user testing
experience leading or supporting product Quality Assurance (QA), including conducting technical, functional, and end user testing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus
Test automation experience is preferred
Travel: Some business travel may be required (<10%)
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
