PixelPool is seeking an experienced software solutions Project Manager in our Portland, OR office. This person will oversee the planning, direction, communication and coordination of interactive software projects from initiation through implementation. The Interactive Project Manager will be an integral part of a cross-functional project team, working with our clients to define and manage daily development from project start to delivery.

Role Description and Responsibilities

The Interactive Project Manager will join an agile, collaborative, client-focused team of 3D developers who strive to delight our clients and help them exceed their objectives. This role will gather and prioritize project details, setup requirements and objectives, then lead projects through development, QA, testing, and launch.

Create and validate accurate estimates to define the scope of work
Negotiate resources and build teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the course of the project life cycle
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, documentation, change requests, risks, and issues to ensure maximum business benefit is maintained
Convey project status to stakeholders, including expenses, forecasts, schedules, and risk/issue assessments
Sound grasp of the key business drivers and considerations in the software development industry
Familiarity with contemporary software development methods
Solid understanding of development life cycle models, as well as expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management practices
A proven track record of successfully implementing and deploying large scale projects as a project manager in the technical / software development industries
Ensure accurate reflection of project budgets within project and issue tracking tools
Assemble project plans, and direct / monitor daily efforts of Developers
Experience with Jira or similar issues tracking tools

Helpful Experience

Knowledge of Perforce, Unreal Engine 4, and 3ds Max
Experience with 10,000ft and Microsoft Office
