Your responsibilities include developing and managing electrical and electronic components and systems as part of the Company's connected products and systems.
A strong practical understanding of the principles of connected electronic systems such as those categorized as the 'Internet of Things.' A strong understanding of automotive electrical circuit and systems operation is highly deisreable.
The skill to design and build test stands and fixtures to aid in the development and testing of your systems is a must. You will have the opportunity to extend your creativity in the way you develop and validate your systems.
In this role, you will be performing hands-on systems work such as serial communication, networking, vehicle communication, automation, debugging, and root cause anaysis.
Equipment skills required include oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, volt / ammeters / ohmmeters, data loggers, and other tools of the trade.
Simple programming and 'Maker' experience using open source hardware such as Arduino, Feather, Beaglebone, Rasperry Pi, and similar software / hardware prototyping platforms is highly desirable.
