The Dynamics 365 CE Engineer works with members of the Digital Technology and Business Transformation Teams, in addition to the broader business and external partners to develop, support, training and maintain best in class solutions enabled by the Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service applications. Ensure technical, security, licensing, and budgeting frameworks are adhered to and compliant. Stay on the cutting edge of technical innovations enabled by the platform and work to implement those innovations into the business where applicable.
Deep knowledge of the Dynamics CRM, Customer Engagement, Field Service, and Portals. Strong understanding of when to use native features and when it is appropriate to use custom development. Ability to successfully communicate this information to both internal and client teams.
Maintains knowledge of third-party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare solutions
Participate in implementation customization and configuration for D365 solutions
Participates with the Business Transformation team to develop a solution proposal that includes scope, assumptions, implementation plan, and technology solution options to meet project goals as well as longer-term needs.
Communicates and trains on complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills. Comfortable speaking in front of medium to large size groups to articulate ideas and instruction.
Facilitates discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of process design, software products, customizations, and integrations to meet those needs.
Experience Microsoft Suite and with other Microsoft products (e.g., Office 365, Power Platform, Azure, etc.)
Experience in Azure CDM And Dynamics 365 CDS integration using Data Flow
Provides on-going direction and support of Dynamics D365 CE including Field Service platform including architecture, development, best practices, etc.
Drive Dynamics CE including Field Service implementations through all project phases including discovery, definition, build, test and deploy.
Demonstrated ability to integrate non-Microsoft SAAS offerings with Dynamics CE including Field Service
Demonstrated ability to test, support, and debug solutions developed in Dynamics CE including Field Service
Analyzes divisional adherence to user permissions and company IT policy; notifies appropriate management as directed.
Ensures that company policies, standards, and procedures are met, followed and maintained by established company policy (e.g. OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws).
Works assigned schedule exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as needed to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Skills & Abilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
3+ years of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement applications (CRM) product experience and processes along with experience in other MS Dynamics modules
1+ years of experience working with Dynamics 365 developer tools
3+ years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics and CDS database architecture and development
1+ year of experience developing PowerApps, Power Automate Workflows, or Power BI
1+ year of experience working with Azure Data components; Azure SQL, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Datawarehouse, Azure Data Lake and knowledge of SQL
1+ year of experience working with Azure Active Directory
Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience working with Lean Six Sigma business process methodologies and root problem identification.
Experience working in a Service Repair, Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods industry is a plus.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Planner, Project, and Teams.
Proficient in using database management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio
Valid Driver's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to worksites.
Certifications for Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service are a plus but not required
Other Requirements: Knowledge of Microsoft based software applications, desktop, and server operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016). Ability to work in an Agile environment and knowledge of Lean methodologies.
