ExoTerra has recently been awarded a contract to develop and fly a solar electric propulsion micro satellite. The spacecraft is a state of the art technology demonstrator to enable future commercial, Lunar and Mars missions. ExoTerra is seeking a Senior Level Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer to serve as the spacecraft GN&C lead. Initial duties include performing the low-thrust trajectory analysis of the spacecraft, specification of the spacecraft guidance and navigation components, and performing pointing and attitude control analysis. Candidates are expected to be involved in the design, analysis and hands-on testing of the hardware.
ExoTerra is a small business located in Littleton, Colorado. ExoTerra focuses on the development of electric propulsion and power systems for microsatellites with applications for commercial spacecraft constellations and interplanetary exploration. We have grown to a team of ~25 engineers and have participated in over a dozen NASA and Air Force programs over the past 9 years.
