are currently accepting applications for an Environmental Remediation Engineer for our Charleston, South Carolina office. This person will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and design successful remediation strategies for the cleanup of hazardous substance and petroleum release sites (contaminated groundwater, soil, surface water, etc.).
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering and design effort for our mostly environmentally-related work: water supply, groundwater
investigation and remediation, wastewater and storm water drainage, conveyance and treatment or management.
Key job responsibilities will include:
Development of feasibility studies
Remedial decision documents
Treatability plans and report
Remedial action designs
Opinions of probable cost and construction estimates
Operations, maintenance and monitoring manuals
Task order management or supporting task order managers
Project and practice management
Client project involvement where appropriate
Coordinating various technical aspects of the work, including working across multi-discipline teams for problem solving
Candidates must have a minimum of a BS in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s degree preferred), with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in remediation system design and implementation. Overnight travel will be required.
