Essential Functions:
- Drafting and design work
- Drawing review
- Review of technical specifications and material take-offs
- Critical vendor communication
Requirements:
· A mechanical/marine engineering or naval architectural degree
· Experience in the maritime industry, preferably experience working in shipyards
· Experience in design and able to perform calculations – critical attention to detail and adherence to standards
· Strong communication and technical writing skills
· Skilled in AutoCAD
· Skilled in Rhinoceros 3D modeling (or equivalent)
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree from accredited college or university
· 3.00 minimum GPA
· Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug testing
