ABOUT THE POSITION:
Is this the right position to help you achieve your professional goals? Some of the key responsibilities for the Junior-Level Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist position may include:
Environmental due diligence property assessments (Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments);
Hazardous building materials surveys and abatement;
EHS Permitting support (air, storm water, wastewater, waste);
EHS compliance services such as permit reviews and compliance audits;
Process safety management and risk management planning (PSM/RMP);
Contaminated site assessment and remediation support, including associated fieldwork; and
Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.

Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. Fieldwork: Usually about 30% but could be more
Overnight travel: Usually about 10% but could be more

BS degree in civil or environmental engineering, environmental science or management, geology or related field. (required)
At least 2 years of related experience associated with regulatory compliance, due diligence and/or contaminated site work. (preferred)
Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental site assessments including EPA All Appropriate Inquiry, ASTM E-1527-13, and ASTM 2600-08. (preferred)
Knowledge of environmental regulatory permit requirements including RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act. (preferred)
Completed Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment training through ASTM within the past 5 years. (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. (required)
