Manufacturing capabilities include tip forming, wire-reinforced tubing, balloons, full device assembly, and more. Rose has been serving medical device OEM’s since 1998.

Project Engineer I Summary: Under general supervision uses established policies and procedures to complete work that is slightly routine to varied in nature for part of a major project or for projects of moderate complexity. May act as lead on smaller projects with limited complexity. Collaborates with engineering team to develop new products and processes, as well as maintaining and improving existing processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Quotations for new development and manufacturing business under the direction and supervision of the director of engineering.
Project planning to organize multiple resources and keep projects on task
Project specific tool designs
A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and is able to contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes using logical reasoning and design of experiments
A basic understanding of documentation and development of tooling, processes, and qualifications
Provide direction to project technicians as needed
Has a basic understanding and is able to contribute to the development of qualification activities, execution of qualifications, and reporting final qualification results with the assistance of supervisor.
Interacting with customers to ensure project outcomes meet customer requirements
Participates in Audits
Must read and understand QSP’s relevant to this position
Other tasks as deemed necessary

Education and/or Experience – Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred) or equivalent experience in a related technical field.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills - A basic knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel, Access, and Project.
