Are you ready to join us in as a PWB Design Engineer supporting multiple programs and performing placement, routing, and drawing/BOM creation while working in conjunction with other technical stakeholders?

You will work on Printed - Card assembly designs ranging from 2 layer quick turn boards to space-qualified high layer count rigid/flex backplanes with blind/buried/micro vias.

Our team uses a variety of commercial and custom tools. We intend on extending the capabilities of these tools so comfort with learning and writing code is a plus.

The primary PCB development tool you will use is Zuken CR-8000. Other tool usage for signal integrity, documentation control and inspection, and regular MS-Office tools will be necessary as well.


  • 5 - 10 years of professional experience for this role.
  • You must be a US Citizen to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Electrical or Electronics program or other closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated PWB or PCB design cycle experience.
  • Basic knowledge of PWB or PCB design and fabrication as documented in industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering program or other closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrated PWB or PCB design cycle experience.
  • Basic knowledge of PWB or PCB design and fabrication as documented in industry standards.
  • This position requires you to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with layout and routing in Zuken CR-8000
  • Experience using Altium
  • Experience with Downstream Blueprint for PCB fabrication and assembly drawing creation.
  • Experience designing space electronics.
  • RF layout and routing experience.
  • High speed digital/mixed signal routing experience.
  • Rigid-flex layout experience.
  • Basic understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
  • IPC CID certification and familiarity with IPC-2221/2222 and IPC-6012.
  • Experience with interfacing with PWB manufacturers.
  • Experience with training new designers.
  • Experience with schematic capture, PWB layout and routing, assembly drawing creation and processing design packages through final release.
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts as applied to PCB/CCA design and assembly.
