FIELD ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEMS

Due to continued growth, we are seeking entry level Electrical Engineers to work in our in our Omaha, Nebraska Service Center. Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
Work with experienced Field Service Technicians to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage electrical systems.
Conduct power transformer testing - Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.
Perform cable testing - Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hipot
Test Low, Medium and High voltage switchgear and circuit breakers
Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
Must be able to work safely and follow electrical safety processes / core principals.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology; focus on Power Systems studies or similar focus a plus. Combination of education and experience may substitute for degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Willingness to be hands on and work in the field at industrial and commercial sites.
Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods, and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Must be able to crawl, climb, stand and lift up to 100 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam.
Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.
Must be available for regular overnight domestic travel and occasional international travel
U.S. passport & TWIC card a plus.
Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights.
