Job profile summary:
The Technical Support Engineer plays a key role in providing the technical knowledge and product & application knowledge of Metal working fluid and HPL products to Industrial sales team and customers for their achieving the sales volume and gross margin target. Supporting Developing and expand the market share for Metal Working Fluid and HPL business from existing and competitor customers for Castrol and BP products in industrial industries.
1. Identify customer needs and develop value proposition with account manager in order to recommend products, service offer and optimise application to key customers, specializing in Core segment, in order to deliver total gross margin expansion for Industrial Thailand.
2.Accountable for proactive problems preventing and provide a “hands on” service resulting from the uses of Castrol products and application in order to deliver benefit and continuous improvement to customers.
3.Responsible for working closely with account manager to design and implement product field trials in order to achieve product benefit to customers. This includes developing successful case studies to leverage product and application knowledge for further business.
4. Build technical capability to our account manager on Castrol products and application to enhance their value selling skill and contribute benefit to customer’s operation.
5. Develop and implement technical service offer in conjunction with account manager to customers in core segment and be in line with CI Segment Offer. This includes fluid monitoring management and customer monthly meeting to identify area for improvement.
6.Provide technical advices concerning the Castrol and BP industrial products range and application to external and internal customers.
7.To summarize necessary technical reports to industrial customers and commenting on in-serviced oil analysis reports from industrial customers.
8.Provide technical trainings as necessary on subjects concerning industrial and associated lubricants to new and existing staff, and externally to customers and distributors for further enhancing value-added skills and contribution to the customer’s operation.
9.To provide directly and indirectly a comprehensive industrial technical supports and used oil analysis program, in conjunction with the departmental manager and the laboratory.
10.Response for implementing the Ethics & Code of Conduct, HSSE policies and system (training, safety audit for CMS/CTS) that are introduced and ensuring the subordinate staff understands such policies and adhere to them..
