Responsible for supporting Gas services, including system monitoring and controls for GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Fab 10 in East Fishkill, New York
Follow through on current control process for meeting gas usage needs for site operations.
Mechanical understanding of components, such as gas piping, regulators and valves.
The ability to read and follow basic schematics.
Excellent organizational skills.
Be able to prepare documentation, for instruction manuals.
Able to use data mining through process trends to drive to root cause
Keep abreast of and implement innovations within the optimization, scheduling, dispatching, and modeling disciplines in our industry and in other relevant industries, and drive continuous improvement in the accuracy and productivity of this function within GLOBAL FOUNDRIES
Build relationships with internal partners, such as Operations, Manufacturing Systems Technology, Supply Chain, and Finance, as appropriate
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field of study
Experience - 0-2 years of relevant work experience
Background in gas services
Experience with the application of gas controls
Background bulk gas services
Mechanical and low voltage electrical experience
Basic knowledge in chemistry
Understanding of gas delivery components
